In autumn 2021 ASHI annual meeting will return with a hybrid form. The ULISES partners LUMC and PIRCHE there will be among the participants.
From the end of September a new edition of ASHI Annual meeting will take place both in Orlando (Florida) and online.
ASHI (American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics) is an international society of professionals dedicated to advancing the science, education and application of immunogenetics and transplant immunology. Its objective is to improve the quality of human life and health through the translation and implementation of scientific innovations to clinical practice.
After attending this meeting, participants will be able to identify important roles for histocompatibility and immune system genes that reach beyond transplantation, new ways to expand opportunities for transplantation and current best practices for selecting donors for both hematopoietic stem cell and organ transplantation. They will also be able to more critically assess various aspects of laboratory testing, from detection of clinically relevant antibodies to the very latest methods for HLA typing and for analyzing test results.
LUMC and PIRCHE, two of ULISES partners, will participate in this annual meeting.
